advice for grinding mask please

i seem to be choosing the wrong masks for metal cutting and grinding as im still getting that lovely black snot lol.

idealy i like one from screwfix as it's local to me and i can pick it up tomorrow as i want to do some grinding tomorrow you see

I use the 3M maintenance free type for painting, grinding and cutting. You can't even smell the paint when you are wearing one.

if your going to use a half mask you probably wont be able to use safety glasses or goggles, might be worth looking at a face shield as well, if you do a lot of work where dust/fumes may be issue there are also air fed options but their not cheap.

Cheers mate, i bought that 3m mentioned above. my goggles just fit with it although a bit uncomfy, but i can live with that lol

Make sure the masks are fitting properly, on the disposables ones you have to push down that little metal strip for it to mould to the shape of your nose
