Advice please!!!

Hi, would really appreciate some advice please!
Just bought a Clarke shhhhh compressor, how can I make it work continuously without having to keep on stopping it for refilling? Is it not supposed to be automatic and should do that when pressure falls to certain level, if yes, then please guide on how to adjust settings?

Welcome to the forum.

Not 100% sure what you mean.

The Shhhhhhhh compressors have a pressure switch which stops the pump when a certain pressure is reached, IIRC about 8 bar for those. As you use air the pressure drops and the pump restarts automatically.

Those pumps don't like running continuously as they can overheat and seize.

sounds like you need a bigger compressor if you are waiting for it to fill up all the time
you are using more air than it can produce

Funny you should mention those Shhhh compressors.
I was somewhere in Cambridgeshire last night, and the folk I was visiting had one of those. And they really are incredibly quiet!
The only other thing I noticed (apart from the quietness) was that it had a sticker on saying it had a 50% duty cycle. (meaning it should only be running 50% of the time) Had quite a small receiver, too.
I can't remember the CFM figure, but it wasn't a huge amount - I don't think it would entertain any kind of spraying antics, though!
I'm guessing you don't mean "continuously", though - just want it to cut in on it's own when the pressure drops in the tank?

They're basically fridge motors with a sightglass on the side.
