Hi there,
My names Dan (you'd have never guessed that from the username...!) Im 24 and from Kendal Cumbria, im kind of half hobby and half work metalwork/welding etc, been living on a farm my whole life, and working on them since i was 16. Just finished my first year and a bit been self employed working for various people in the agri sector on everything from livestock work to agri engineering to contracting work.
Ive got a lot of my own equipment, the usual grinders etc and my favourite tool my NewArc RM2500 240v 250a Mig/MMA welder, its a beast but not massive which is always good! I also have a DeWalt TCT chop saw, a tube bender, small pillar drill (a silverline piece of rubbish but it was free!) and a lot of Makita 18v cordless stuff which i rate very highly.
Thats about it really! Im a handy lad and ill set to building anything, when i work out how to upload pics ill post some of the 4 ton tractor trailer, log splitter (fecking huge!) and bale grab ive built so far!
