Air brush compressor ideas

Its a bit leftbank but i need a compressor for a air brush thats going to be used on cakes and foodsuffs only, now ive got two 150lt jobbies from the workshop that will power the brush with ease.
BUT i need the air to be free from nasty stuff oil dirty water ect has anyone ran a set up like this or should i just by a small oiless jobby.(how safe would a filter be)
Ive also looked a turning a fridge unit one into a small compressor but im not sure how food safe it would be.

A fridge compressor will put a lot of oil into the air. There are dental compressors working on the fridge motor principle, but they are expensive.

I would go for an oil-less model, but you'll need a water filter.

What ever you choose if it wasn't designed for foodstuff I'd be inclined to fit a devilbliss finish line filter to it it makes the air from any compressor suitable for breathing so will remove anything from the air

As hygiene is paramount, I would look to see how viable using disposable cans are. I found that a big one lasted quite some time with my airbrush.

We have looked into all the options and gone for a proper food safe unit. If maintained properly it keeps everyone happy.
I did toy with a air can one useing co2 pub gas as a propellant.
Food safety comes first
