air carbon arc cutting

My first post on here

I was wondering if someone could give me any info they have on air carbon arc cutting and oxy-fuel cutting?

I worked in a foundry for 3 years doing these every day. Never had a qualification or anything just learnt on the job.

Is there a qualification for this & if so would it be recognised offshore? Or will it be done as part of welding courses etc?

I spend allot of time offshore in a H&S capacity, never seen any gouging or Oxy fuel cutting unless the place has been decommissioned and is being cut up
