I have a question about linking air compressors together.
I have a Wolf 24L 2HP compressor, (big mistake now, but when I originally bought it for a nailer I wasn't after anything big.) Its maximum pressure is 8 Bar. My dad also has a compressor, fairly old now, maybe 12 years? No idea on how many HP but what I do know is it's also 24L and 8 bar.
My question is, can I effectively and SAFELY run these compressors together on the same airline by using a PCL Y split? My thinking is that both compressors and the airline can never go above 8 bar as the pressure switch on each compressor will cut out at 8 bar.
I know the best option for me, is to get a bigger compressor, I'm looking into that, but I just can't afford to at the moment. I know I could add tanks but I don't have the space.
Thanks
Danny
