Air conectors and presure gauge

Hi my my enginering friends

I am having trouble with female air conectors, they won't couple and when they do they can pop out
This can be annoying when you are spraying,do you no of any good quality conectors

The gun air gauge leaks I have baught a couple but they are all rubish again any suggestions were I can get a good one q

Not silly money I only do diy

Screwfix sell genuine PCL couplings/fittings. PCL is 100% the way to go, they don't rust like the cheap ones. These things do wear over time, that may be why they are not working correctly

Be aware that there are two styles of female connector. One type has a collar in front of the sleeve you pull to release the fitting, this collar is designed for hoses that are trailed along a workshop floor as the other type will disconnect quite easily and are best suited to fixed positions.

i use both pcl and the euro fitting both work at moment without any trouble

PCL is the brand, they also do an XF and a Euro fitting as well as what we all call a PCL(PCL do as well) which is technically a PCL19. To add to the confusion the XF is what is commonly known as a euro.

With regard to PCL there as Bill said there are 2 types, Airflow for fixed installations and Vertex has the flange to help prevent the coupling coming detached.

Had the same problem with a silverline connector I purchased. Bought a 4 way connector block from Lidal (3.99)recently and took the connectors off there and had no problems.
