Air Fed Mask for 2k

Hi All,
I setting up my compressor for spraying 2k. I'm aware of the health issue's and I want todo it safely.

I've got 7.5hp compressor with a 300 litre tank.

My setup will be mostly hobby use, and will only see sporadic usage. I am hoping to avoid having to buy replacement filters due to them going out of date.

Has any one any experience of the following type of respirators

I dont think these have any consumables which I think will help pay for the unit in the long run.

Any one have any experience of these, are they safe for 2K

No experience of that unit but i really dont like the look of it, if your doing 2k on a regular ish basis (well more than a one off) then buy the correct kit, the kestrel 3 stage filters http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kestrel-T...Air_Tools_and_Compressors&hash=item3cd01a3a7a seem about the best value and the replacement filter elements for them are about the cheapest on the market for a mask something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Air-fed-m..._Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item3f27cec715 or the devilbiss (more expensive) or that type is what you want really imo

Umm, as an inveterate DIY guy, I made an air mask from a normal filter mask with the air fed from outside the workshop. It was 20+ yrs ago and the kit was not available in my location. Being aware of the problems of inhailing 2K, I made sure that the flow was well above what I needed, so plenty of waste blowing out the edges of the mask. Those filters being recommended are not needed of the air is coming from outside the work area. Something more simple would do.
I do have a proper air fed mask now, but I also use a DIY one fed from a remote location with a modded vacuum cleaner motor.
Depends how confident you are on the stuff you make.

The filters are still required. Forced air is not nice stuff to breathe.

they have hepa filter in them that needs replacing every now and then
I was thinking of getting one also but with the hood they seem to be what every non pro is using in the usa
