air hose couplings

Jus bought some new rubber hose to replace the pvc type that came with my compressor.

The crimps on the end of the hose are brass - a male and a female. When i fastened the pcl connector into the female crimp it split the nut which goes around the olive.

Is it possible to get a new crimp fitted? If so does anyone know where would be the best place to get it done?

Not machine mart ones are they? The crimps are rubbish.

I just use barbed fittings and hose clips. much easier to work with.

Where did you get them from luke?

I bought the hose from an autojumble but it is more than likely the same sor of stuff that you would get at machine mart.

Shame you're not nearer, I could crimp that with a new ferrule.
