Air Line - What to buy

Hi

My retractable air line is starting to crack and leak so looking to replace. There was a thread on here a while back with some recommendations on a flexible hose with good abrasion properties but for the life of me I can't find it. Even resorted to going back through all of the threds in this section for the last 2 years but no luck

I have one of them hoses about 10 years now and it's still going strong. It gets lots of hard use and never a problem. They're really light and very flexible.

Avoid a Laser one, I bought one & the crimp on ferrules were loose both ends. On the packet it said any problems, ring this number, so I did. I spoke to someone, totally disinterested who said "why are you ringing" my reply "because it said on the wrapper any problems ring this number & it would be a serious safety problem if it came apart at 150psi & I feel you ought to know" still totally disinterested so I put the phone down & their tools are now last resort.

Just seen the price of the Snap On hose

Want to buy a quality one but that's a bit spendy for home workshop

any rubber hose suppliers . I got some from a mate that fell of the back of a wagon and some from an autojumble oxygen and acetylene hose is brill if u can get any

As above I have a few old oxygen hoses as airlines still going strong 20 years on.
