Air Nail/staple gun

I have over 300+ mtrs of chicken mesh to tack up,so i'm after a cheap half decent nail/staple air gun
my compresser is a http://www.toolite.org.uk/clarke-warrior-compressor-p-56997.html
it'll be all staples i'm using,now i know theres a few cheap silverline guns on evilbay to which i dont mind getting ie

as the job dont merit getting anything too expensive.
Now i've used nail guns before,gas powered and electric but not from a compressor,do these thing use up a lot of air am i going to be standing waiting for the tank to be filling up every 5 mins or so?
Among that problem the nearest power point or shall i say the furthest away from it will be around 150 mtrs away,now i have enough(just) extension lead to get there what i dont need is for the tank to run out after a short while then have to drag the comp back to refill it then drag it all the way to the part i'm working on,thats through ankle deep mud to,and yes i am on my own
All this just to keep Bugs bunny out and not chickens in

Air stapler firing staples big enough to last more than 10 minutes will probably fire 20 to 30 staples on a 50 l tank at 7bar

Probably easier to do by hand tbh... or nail a batten over the wire to clamp it then you could use a paslode nailer

That stapler probably fires 1 or 1.2mm staples I guess....

I know where your coming from on the batten and that did cross my mind,but that will include buying 300 mtrs of it,sorry way out of the price,doing it by hand is time,but summing it up it may have to come to that,i just wanted a quick pop pop pop job done etc

I think the collated ones will be too thin, however you're going to fire them. Galv staples, are the way to go, (mind your fingers)

Hummmm,does claim to fire staples 18 gauge 13-40mm long,but i suppose being silverline it would,lol
I can see this being a hammer and full nailbag job.........................again

I bought a cheap Silverline nail/staple gun from Toolstation to put some Oak T&G flooring down, nailing at an angle through the tongue. I was really pleased with it for a cheapy, my compressor didn't kick in that often (50L tank).
Plus if you get it from Toolstation you can take it back if you end up with a dud.

As an aside we have a 47KG propane cylinder on wheels that we use as a mobile air supply, I fill it to 140 psi and we use it for inflating tyres etc. It has a hook for the airline to hang on and a pull along handle.
The wheels are the cheap pneumatic ones with the bearings incorporated.

If you have a screw fix near by they do a air hose for £15 which will add 50ft to your extension leads! Before you lug it all up to the job site, spend a bit of time setting the pressure for the stapler as if set to high you will bury the staples in the wood and may cut the wire fence in process with out realizing it. If the staples are a bit cheepy then put them in in pairs as a cross ie one over the top of the other. And remember DON'T staple the pink fleshy bits cos you are a way from help (rem your mobile!!)

That's fine so long as you haven't got more than chickens to keep in/out, and you'll be restapling sooner as the thinner rubbish staples you used the first time have rotted away

I built my shed using a aldi nail and staple gun and worked a treat. Never ran out of air with my little Clarke compressor and there was two of us putting it together so fast pace

Sod it,i'll go for that ebay one give it a go,if it a loser its only £30,if it comes up trumps and does the job then i'm a happy man,thanks for your comments,i'll keep you updated on how it works out.
