WD40, soak the nest, then use a lighter and the WD40.
Or the above, but back up with a CO2 Fire extinguisher. If freezes the lill blighters.
Failing that black powder, then wd40, then wd40 and a lighter.
If that fails, move house.
Spraying oil (clean or used, which seems to last longer) onto cars/equipment to prevent rusting.
Spraying waxoil (or similar product) onto cars/equipment.
It really blasts it well and creates a fine mist as well which is probably terrible to breathe in but can really travel nicely along things such as chassis rails, nooks and crannies.
I've put diesel in and blasted the inside of old diesel sumps with sticky sludge inside which needs washing out.
Truly brilliant piece of equipment.
what sort of spray pattern /output would you get with old oil ? fine mist or does it lash out like a hose?
Can't be doing with moving house, got anything stronger than black powder? Also I'm not sure how to get it in place on a wasp nest that's attached from above with nothing underneath?
I'd like rid of the nest above my house door.
Of course I do.
But they will be dyeing off now, wait until the first frost. Then hit them with a can of raid, that will remove the ones left.
Remove the paper nest, either keep or bin.
Early next year, just as the Blue Bells are in flower, place a Moth ball were the nest was.
