Hi.
I am lucky enough to own a single phase 21 cfm 14.7 fad air compressor with a 200 liter air tank.
I have never bothered to plumb it in properly and have made do with a good quality large bore rubber air hose of about 4 meters with a regulator/filter at the end.
I have used it with good effect for blasting useing a blasting pot/ a blast cabinet and a small bore blast nozzle.
The compressor is of commercial quality. Britsh made belt driven and steel barrel.
As luck would have it. I had the chance to buy the same make but a little smaller.
A 100 litre 12 cfm job.
As things are stepping up. I think it wise to sort out a proper air pipe.
I intend to link the two compressors together.
Each air tank is rated @ 12 bar to equalization should not be a problem.
I have to hand a long lenght of blue 25 mm plastic water underground pipe and a couple of fittings.
Also have a large box of the propper 22 mm push fit air line connector.
And to add even more opptions. A very good friend of mine can put his hands of steel gas pipe of any size.
My questions ars this.
Would the Blue plastic watef pipe be up to the job of both compressors linked and more so the connection? ?????
How expensive is the propper 22 mm air pipe and fittings.
What is gas steel pipe ratted to in bar???
I own a bsp pipe threader to 1 and a quarter inch.
