Air Pipework Bottleneck - Fretting over nothing??

right i'm just in the process of trying to get together all the connectors needed to plumb up my pipework for the comrpessor. I'm planning on using some 3/4" gas pipe with various take off points.

however i'm going round in circles in my mind as to what sizes of connector a fittings to use

saliant points of the setup are
tank has a 1/2" outlet
this will be connected to air filter/moisture trap which accepts 1/2" connections
this will be connectoed to 3/4" gas pipe
this has 1/2" PCL couplings at various point

however i was planning on basically having a short whip lead from tank to filter with a PCL quick realse coupling on incase i need to move the compressor for any reason however i keep thinking all the 1/2" & 3/4" size stuff downstream of that PCL connector is really all unecessary as having such a small opening as on one of the PCL connectors i would imaging is the biggest bottleneck

i worring about nothing and its not going to make a blind bit of difference or should i sack off the PCL quickconnector between tank and filter and keep 1/2" and 3/4" airways all the way up to the PCL takeoff dotted around.(but again i guess the size of those again awill be the limiting factor so does it realy matter it theres one further upstream?

Hope these ramblings kind make sense, if not i'll try cobbling together a diagram

hi mat i use eurofittings on the main line then a y piece with 1 euroconector and a standard pcl . there fine for most things but a bit disapointing for the blasting pot . the conectors have the shut off valve in them , which restricts free flow of air and slightly reduces volume im changing the ones on main line to a half inch bsp ball valve then using half inch claw couplings with no restrictions it might sound over the top but the diffrence is noticable. the only thing i need to do is make an adaptor from claw to euro for tools and pot on the end of hoses

You should be OK, that's what I've done on my setup, and I've only used 15mm copper pipe. You need a flexible link between the compressor and pipework to absorb vibration.

Run the pipework at tank pressure.
