Air receiver

Hi all, had a look at the internals of my air receiver today, looked slightly corroded... Should I be worried?

It's 22 years old now and has a 150 l capacity!

I would consider it normal.

Mine is probably close to 30 years old. Do sometimes get a bit of rust when I drain the water.

There is always a bit of corrosion on the inside. The new tank at work looks a lot worse than the tanks 30+ years old!

tanks years ago are thicker than the new ones being built , if u were realy concerned tip it over and tap long the bottom of tank with a ball pein hammer not 2 hard if it dents its weak if it doesnt its fine

Do this without any pressure in the tank....

Great, thanks for the advice guys! Seems solid and I've suffered no other probs with it but thought I would ask!
