Air regulator

Looks like the cheap air reg I had from Aldi about 3 years ago has given up, giving out full tank comp pressure even after adjusting. The only times I need to use lower pressure is when paint spraying (Devilbiss HVLP gun). The water trap is still ok so wondering if I should just get a press controller to fit on the spray gun?

Pressure changes tend to let water form so if it's any quality spraying you are doing I would try and keep them as far away from the gun as possible.
Also the adjuster on the gun works a lot better if it's running through less of a pressure range.

If your only replacing it like for like you can probably find a regulator for under £20.. The gun mount devilbiss ones are nearer 60quid.
