Yes also great to have, another ebay £10 purchase I use a lot, can't fault them.search for a mini gun , more suited to small car repairs
Not sure about the expensive one's, they may be more detailed and could possibly struggle, not got the experience to judge either way, the cheap ebay one's manage fine and I have also sprayed the Aldi Metalcare thinned with white spirit, was still thick enough for good coverage.does the average airbrush even spray automotive paints without over thinning?
I bought a devilbiss airbrush for small repairs & they do have their uses but I later bought a mini gun which proved to be more useful. I found the paint needed to be extremely well thinned for the airbrush, hence needing more coats.Anyone using airbrushes on here for automotive usage?
Aside from the graphics/art can they be used for small repairs?
Thanks
I have used them a fair bit and yes have done some minor flashing in scratches and dents in the past, the one's that amazed me the most was a couple I bought off Ebay for around the £7 mark, they were brilliant little things with a great adjustable spay pattern.

I used one here when I cut through on an edge, the mini gun seemed like an overkill.
It came up ok.
Ready for clear.
That's a nice result However, do you find you're using a mini gun more so than air brush?
See post 9I have had a look at eBay, there's a few on there. I don't suppose you have a link to the ones you specifically purchased and recommend?
