I don't know if all aldi stores reduce unsold stock at the same time but i got one of their air cut off saws this morning down from 6-99 to 3-99.Noticed they also had the filter/oiler down from 17-99 to 8-99.Got to be worth a go at these prices

I bought one of their air operated sheet metal shears a few weeks ago and think it a great bit of kit, walks through .8 sheet .

I got the shears aswell and i must say for £6 i was very impressed, i've just used them to make a plant pot wheelbarrow and they worked a treat

Our local store had self retracting air hose reels reduced from £40 to £30, £40 is cheap so £30 was a no brainer ! When I unpacked it though, the paint on one of the side plates was flaking with rust underneath. Can't get back to the store until tomorrow so I hope they have one left to exchange with ?!

That sucks mate,i hope you can get it swapped,that or tell them you want another tenner off it and some of their metal paint and put that on it

What bore is the hose? Theres no info on the boxes

Yeah, that was annoying, I deduced that it wouldn't be 13mm, so was likely to be 8 or 10mm, it is 10mm. Very good reel though, you wouldn't touch it for less than £80 or more anywhere else.

Bought the shears and impact gun yesterday at my local store. They werent reduced but were still only £25 for the pair so i'm happy

I've been dismissing this thread thinking there was no Aldi around here, just realised there's one just the other side of town

Will try and pop in tonight if I get a long enough break before 8, there looks to be some bargains!
