Started getting funny cuts off my lawnmower yesterday,cutting far to low so i investigated and found the motor was sagging through the frame because the old girl had tin cancer...Honda engined and far to reliable to scrap so off to the scrapyard i went and returned with a cooker door, i now have my metal for surgery..half a day later and the old girl is back into service for another few years...Anyway as always a few pics of before and after and please bear with me with some of the welds as at times it was like welding a metalic ciggy paper

I had a Honda with aluminium deck - still corroded and hole appreared. My current Honda has a resin deck

not sure if they are over there but here u can buy a walk behind mower with a stainless steel deck........won't rust but sure as hell will get fatigue cracks....u just can't win, can u.....?????
looked for a used deck for a big'ish ride on Honda........in the end the client bought a new deck complete........virtually no change from €1,600 plus tax........!!!!!!!!
at least the rust keeps u welding.......
always repairing mower deck's.......structural supports I now use nuts and bolts with a few tack's to hold it place......gives a little extra flex over welding solid........
works for me.......
