Hi, with the moderators permission and only wanting to help people obtain parts for the Boxer 185 i wish to make this post. I did contact Weldtec recently for a replacement wire feed roller and pinch bearing for the Boxer 185 but sadly after a polite conversation discussing the problems with my now 15 year old model Art 534 i was left dredding the concept of changing my well loved machine for a new one. However after trawling the net, i found a company called BASIC WELDING Services Ltd and they were indeed very helpful. They are able to order parts from Cebora direct and through the post i have now recieved 2 X New Feed Roller and 1 X New motor & Drive unit. Great! I hope this helps anyone who is tearing their hair out over wire feed problems with this model. I would also like to add, that a common problem with this model seems to be inconsistent wire feed or wire slippage at the Pinch roller, the original rollers were grooved 0.6 & 0.8 but the groove was very smooth and this soon gave problems with slippage etc, the new replacement rollers are now 'Knawled' or 'Toothed' grooved dramatically sorting out the problem. One more bit of advice, i recently replaced my euro torch with a 3m Binzel (original) but found that there is a noticable difference between Binzel Torch Liners. A 3m torch liner is a tad narrower than a 4m torch liner, Binzel state that their 3m liner handles 0.6-0.8 wire, they dont state a measurement for the 4m liner, but I measured this difference accuratly and found that 0.8 steel wire would run through a 4m liner far easier than a 3m liner, so, i ordered a 4m liner and cut it down to 3m ensuring that i stripped back the PTFE to the same dimensions. Some of you may disagree, and i can only vouch for the original Binzel make, but there is alot of friction caused when wire is fed through a fitted liner from the goose neck of the torch, and if you are having problems with uneven or erratic wire feed especially if using the smaller 0.7Kg rolls (some manufactured in China Say No More!!) you may find that this simple Mod will cure the problem.
