Aluminium Ramps

A little job for a fellow forum member, ramps to put a car onto turntable wheel alignment gauges,

First cut some ally treadplate and put a bit of a bend in it in the press

Cut some ally channel for cross members, and treadplate for the side plates, and fab it up,

And finished, the short ones are for the turntable, the longer ones are for the back wheels to keep the car level. tested with a couple of tons of Peugeot estate and they work just fine

Very nice. Funny enough I have just bought a new ramp for the new van, from the imaginatively named company The Ramp People

Lovely bit of kit, wider and longer than my existing ramp which was ok for the 250 but too much of a struggle for the 500.

nice to see the old Dunlop gear still working.......have a set of their tracking gauges.....must be 40-50 years old n still working...
the orig mirror is knackered but so am I.......hahaha....
wish I had them.....
