Guess its only common curtosy to introduce myself, my name is Darren and I am a self employed blacksmith working from home in the West Sussex area. Most of the work i do now is fabrication of gates and railings as opposed to tradition blacksmith style work. The majority of work is done with a 10 yr old Thermo arc 250 mig welder, with any site instalation work being done via a welder generator unit using stick welding. The occasional nice job turns up that can be tig welded using my fusion inverter 200 amp DC unit, which also doubles as a 180 amp stick welder. even rarer i sometime have cause to use the oxo set and braze the odd thing or two together.
Chances are i am likely to answer more questions than i ask, but you never know there might be the odd question i need answering, and this forum seemed like a good place to get answers from, henceforth why i joined.
