Hi
Having learnt to weld (arc and gas) to a reasonable standard as an apprentice truck mechanic for Readymix in the 70's, I feel the urge to take it up again. The need to modify my bike trailer (I do a bit of twin-shock motorcycle trials) and the loan of a Selco inverter from a guy at work got me going again.
As I hope to retire in 10 years (some hope) and do a bit of basic blacksmithing, I'm toying with buying my own kit to get my skill level back up to where it was 30 years ago, but what to buy? Although pricey, is the Murex Tradesmig 150 any good, or are there better cheaper machines?
BTW, love the tutorials on here, they've been a great help...
