Annular cutter sets

Any recommendations on resonably priced annular cutter sets.
I've seen the rotabroach raptor and evolution cyclone
Any others worth looking at

Over what size range?

I guess your main use is drilling clearance holes for standard metric bolts, so do you want to be between M16 and M30 (four cutters would do, M16, M20, M24, M30). Do you need larger than this or smaller than this or a bigger range (e.g. M12 - M42). Standard length or extended length?

just buy what ya need....sets are never cheap enough for a few to stand idle....
very diff here to buy them direct....
so I order from the local tool shop......yes they r Chinese but there's been no probs.....
If u want to buy British theres a firm in Yorkshire that make em, I'm told.....

That's pretty much it, drilling bolt holes in steel beams etc

They are something that might be carried by your steel supplier or your nuts and bolts supplier or even a builder's merchant.

You should only really need 14mm, 18mm, 22mm for most jobs...

I do like the rotabroach raptor bits, they start out terrifically sharp and last a long long time as long as you use coolant/lube.

Beware if you get a 12mm raptor bit, the pilot pin is a different size to the rest.

I got a set of 5 with the mag drill but asked them to switch the 16mm out for an extra 18mm as that is the size I use most. Unless a set is particularly good value just get what you need …

Well obviously at M10 and under you can use whatever jobber drill size that suits the job.
2mm oversize is pretty standard for structural steel holes M12 through to M24.
M30 you'd be at 3mm+ but how often does the average joe starting out with first magdrill need to use M30?

Ta, going to probably get the raptor 14-22mm set and a separate 26mm as not much dearer than buying 18,20 and 26mm separately, which is what one of my builder m8s reckons is most used
