, I'd like to say hi to all of you.
I'm Canadian but live in Slovakia now, teaching English at a couple schools to make ends meet. Worked in Northern Canada in the gold mines running heavy equipment and did quite a bit of welding then on the machines and other stuff. Far from being a pro but could usually make things stick pretty good.
Now the only welding I do is small, just things for around the house like a 6 metre sliding gate, swing set for my boy, etc. nothing too pretty, but fairly solid.
I've got a cheap transformer stick welder - cheap in every sense of the word - and just bought a 200 amp 3 phase mig that I really love.
Oh, and I don't seem to be any good at jokes
