Another corvine experiment.

Getting a bit obsessed about crows lately.

Plasma cut by hand from photo's, I tried a couple and got carried away. I have been watching crows for years, I have a stealth bomber Raven that cruises by my workshop about 20 times a day, a hole in the sky nothingness just black. so I had an idea of way of using some offcuts.



When I put them up I was dissapointed, boring and a bit nice. Then the sun came out.

No no no you cultural dwarf, it is flying, it's wings are on the powerful downstroke, see it's rippling biceps, see it's neck and beak.
Good grief.

The top right one surprised me. I thought I had messed it up completely, until the sun came out.

nah i think someone has just shot the bottom one and its flipped over before crashing to the ground, you caught its last moments of life beautifully

u couldnt model em of our patch ive shot em all and caught all the magpies in a larson trap and shot em

I did see The Birds, at just the right age. I can remember earnest playground conversations, 'where you sick when she had her eyes pecked out' Of course not. I was not even scared. Not a tiny bit. Even a hint. I watched the film recently with Mrs C. Still scary. Next I have to watch with junior C, aged 14, unscarable..... That could be a laugh.

As a kid I was attracted to rookeries and scared of them. Crows are in my blood.
My workshop has a stealth bomber Raven that cruises the vicinity, a light proof blackness no shape just blackness. (I just missed the gothic movement, too old).

there are some monster crows round here they bend and twist the elements on the tv ariels and not just a little bit i thnk they feed on steroids

Brightspark: A mate of mine was doing same thing with Magpies. Someone saw the trap with bird in it. He got a visit from Police.

Mate explained to him he was letting birds go in another area

Before Policeman left he asked for one of the traps. He wanted to do away with Maggies that were killing songbirds in his garden........Gamie turned Poacher
