Hi all, Came on here as I am going to buy a welder probably a mig in the next few weeks, for a motor bike project, have been promising myself one of my own for years.
Was taught to weld over 30 yrs ago cant remember much now so will be looking for some advice and guidance.
Don't get on the net much but from time to time like to improve my life with it by learning.

Hi ya, It will be a parts bin Z1000 1977/8 (900 shape)... I will post pics when and as they happen, the frame is on it's way as we speak. That will be braced and then I want to build an all year round 30 year old rocket. It will take me some time as I work an 80hr week and don't have a workshop.
But hey ya gotta have a project.

Got my gas bottle today, mig and frame on the way, picked up some tube yesterday.
At this rate it may be finished inside five years.

I havn't received it yet but a Clarke 130en, I will do pics when I get my laptop back (with a new hard drive)..... Frame just turned up hey hey...
