After looking at some of the prices charged for various patio heaters, chimneas and fire pits i decided to build my own. With a little research on the net and using this forum here is what i came up with:
I sourced the cylinder from someone i deliver to, the legs were part of an old and rusty scafold pole and the chimney is an old tractor exhaust. It's all made out of scrap so apart from gas, wire and electricity cost me nought!
I only have a 90amp welder so the welds aren't great due to lack of penetration and i have only been welding for about 4 weeks, this is my first project.
Enjoy
