Another new member from the North west

Thought i best introduce myself, i have lurked for ages and even made a couple of posts.

Tis nice to find a great informative site, and being the owner of two CLASSIC mini`s and a T25 campervan makes me think i could well be a frequent visitor to the forum as i attempt to stitch copious amounts of metal together.

By the way one mini is currently being stripped ready to mount on a spit (which i have made) for a full bare metal re-build .

Suprising how those little rust bubbles turn into dirty great holes when the paint etc is removed.

I am not yet a welder but it`s looking like i am going to get a lot of practice, and there will be plenty of questions from me i guess.

When i have time and learn how i will post pics.

hello and welcome we like pictures. Easy to upload on the post reply "go advanced" then click on "PAPER CLIP" find the pic and "UPLOAD" there is a tutorial but not sure where. What welder you got and were in Cumbria?

Thanks for the welcome and info on pics madkayaker, i have a Clarke 151 TE and am currently looking for somewhere that does non rental gas bottles in the Ulverston, Barrow, Kendal, Keswick area, do you or anybody else in Cumbria know of a source?

As soon as I have sold my new mini I want a classic and have a feeling I may need one.
