Hi.
Started looking for gas and found you lot! Need to upgrade to larger bottle from consumable due to son in laws recent purchase of 1974 VW T2 Campervan. Tried Adams but TNT seem to have the Lions share of cost. Had a trawl round, found Gasmans threads, and think Weld-Air in Dunstable may be an option. Will go for rent free if possible and know I will need new regulator. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Have done a bit of Arc in the past but not much Mig. Peter.

Hello from fairly close. I think WeldAir is where my next Argon bottle will come from - rental is only £15/yeer so far as I understand. Not a lot else around here apart from BOC and AP with massive bottle rental that's not really suited to DIY use.

Hi. I use Weld-air for my gas (very helpful) and I don't pay any rental, but as you need a regulator you might like to try United Welding in Hitchin (also very helpful) as they have just started supplying non-rental bottles with regulators built in.

are BOC still doing the deal for a bottle of gas , as I understand you quote the VW site and they let you have the gas cheap , there is a thread on here somewhere !
