It's great to get all the commission stuff finished and get on with making stuff that I enjoy, as long as it sells of course. I have an open studio exhibition in September, part of Hereford art week, details to follow, you are of course all welcome to visit. so I have to have some stuff to show, I was imagining how daft I would look 'here is my lovely shed with no sculpture in it.'
Other projects developing as we look at this stuff.
Basically I have to make a load of stuff that I know will sell, so I am rehashing old ideas on a purely commercial basis.

A dragonfly in rusted mild steel with stainless wings, 1.6m wingspan.

A lucky shot, the SUN came out just as I finished it.

When the rusty bits are even I might polish and lacquer them.

Drains, the lines on the wings?
I draw them on with a whiteboard marker then run the Mig torch over the top, after the DT's stop.
Spder? may well have to happen.
i think I might have to make new lags and antennae, the stainless ones dont look right.
