Another Newb..

Hi,

I'm down near the Jurassic Coast in Devon, I started welding about 20 years ago with a crappy little Maypole Gasless 90amp jobbie that got me through a few MOTs and gave me regular arc eye with the live torch before moving on to pub bottles and the heady heights of Clarke welders.

I guess I'm a late developer as I'm just about to get my first Argo-shield bottle having been impressed with the results of trying the mix in those little disposable bottles.

I've lurked around here on and off for a while and thought it was best to finally join in.

Just down the road, Feniton just outside Honiton, I used to make deliveries to Colyton surgery when i worked for the NHS
