Hi,
I am not a welder but work with welders in my occupation. I work for a shop that manufactures boilers and pressure vessels. Part of my work involves quaifying welders and welding procedures. Do any of you do this sort of work? I work mainly with the ASME BPVC (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code). Occasionally, I also work with AWS D1.1 (American Welding Society) and also the relevant British Standards for welding (I understand much of BS will be obsolete, giving way to EN Standards). I hope to learn something new during my visits here.
