Another small seahorse

I have made this for my new friend and her Mum. Aaaah.
A simple but fiddly process, draw it on the sheet metal, then weld over all the lines and plasma cut round the perimeter.

Today I made a simple mount and scrubbed her with Ammonium Chloride.
Photo taken about an after that was done.

Cue big big smile on my chum's face. Job done.

I really like the pearly effect that it had before you rusted it, though that might have just been caused by the camera.

Went over it with a wire brush on a bench grinder, it does leave a lovely texture.

then spend 10 mins taking the pins out of your jacket and the back of your hands...before today ive had one in my neck

Angle grinder and drill wire brushes yes, but I don't have that problem very often with the bench grinder. The danger is when the brush grabs what ever i'm cleaning wrenches it out of my hand and wang's it round the workshop.

Yep, bench grinder and brush is a fairly civilised process apart from the occasional snatch at the workpiece. With an angle grinder job it is a job for wives and teenagers.
