Good afternoon Ladies and gents Ive been lurking here for quite a while and I knew of this forum for a long while before I registered .
Its about time I said hello and indeed put my welder which I have had for over 12 months to some use
I am currently at the end of my recent project and I needed four bolts to hold it down , the only ones I had were much too long and I was in no mood for a trip to the shops so I decided to chop them down and weld some nuts on the end to make new short bolts
They are not he prettiest welds but they will do the job and hold the engine to the trolley .
The welder I own was bought for me at Christmas 2007 by my late wife
I am a complete novice when it comes to using the machine but I have learned loads from this forum
The engine as it was when first purchased
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=E6BNg6BU9k4
And now it is finished
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9p7vvsG1Gz4
I have since bolted it to a different trolley as in the finished video
Thank you for getting this far and not getting bored
Steve
