Got this in a pile of tools, haven’t a clue what it is, any guesses?
deffo if your measuring shims and ground parts everone should get oneThe next question is, do I need a comparator
The answer is....... If you already have a dial indicator, you have a comparator. The stand should scrub up easily, just be careful not to clean the serrated anvil with any abrasive. Its a handy item to have to measure duplicate parts you may wish to make. The next question is, do I need a comparator
Hmmm, something I never thought about before. We used to used similar to check if the wire was concentric to the coating of the electrode.......its important that the flux coating is consistent all way round, otherwise they burn lob sided.
