Anti vibration feet

I need a set of anti vibration feet for my recently acquired ABAC compressor as it has neither them nor wheels at present.
Rather than spending £40+ on a set of proper items I had a look at the messages to see what other people have done and seems car / van engine mounts can be used. As a Land Rover enthusiast /fool I remembered Series gearbox mounts were ideal so intend getting a set to try.
If anyone else is interested they are £1.63 each including VAT. Obviously you have to add carriage, unless like me, who is repairing a Disco / money pit, when carriage is free on orders over £50.

Simply cut the threaded stud off one side -

I did much the same with my compressor but utilising some similar bushes from an automated weighing system we had at work. The bushes were discarded after a given service life but many were still serviceable. I just rescued 2 from the skip, cut them in two & bolted them on the support legs for compressor/receiver. They made the whole thing much quieter & the best thing was they were for free.
