Anyone using a Hitbox HBT250P AC TIG?

Has anyone bitten the biscuit and bought a Hitbox HBT250P?
There was some chat about them a little while back.
Seems to tick a lot of boxes. Pre/post gas, ramp up/down, start/finish amps, pulse (frequency, peak duration peak/base amps), AC frequency and balance. Plus foot pedal.
Seems a lot less expensive than others. What functionality to the others offer over the Hitbox?

Done loads of MIG but want to try TIG.

But note this is a DC only Tig so you cannot weld aluminium etc. For that you need an AC DC Tig. And don't forget the expensive Argon bottle deposit for Tig

I can get big bottle argon at a local auto parts store. Yes, bottle deposit but no annual rental so suits my style of use.

I bought the 200a ac/dc version, it was dead out of the box so can't comment but read up on the 13amp fuse tampering on them. Buy from Amazon over Ebay if you must, much easier to return

Hitbox hbt250p worth buying?

I know nothing about tig welding, only mig. But I'd like to learn, and if I'm going to do it, I want to be able to weld ally too, so a.c., pedal, pre and post gas flow are all good I believe. These seem cheap, the cheapest of the ac/dc I've seen. Are they actually likely to be any good though...
