Apollo Spraymate HVLP Turbine Paint Spray System

Might be an old question i did look but didnt find much sorry. What i wanted to know these any good for spraying cellulose paint . Says it will but they would say that. Anyone used one the bigger ones seem ok but what about this one? Anyone

In the absence of another reply... Never used one, but donks back I did look into them. It seemed tempting, but for similar money you can get a compressor, s/h maybe, and gun, and have far more versatility. An impression I got was that the air from these is fairly warm, being beaten about by the turbine. Although the lower overspray of HVLP could be attractive.

All speculation/hearsay, as I say, not used one. But it does seem like going compressor opens up a whole wide range of possibilities, while those things are completely single-purpose.

Not used one personally but do know a couple of people who have.
Generally they seem to be adequate for smaller jobs but don't give a very brilliant finish so you will have to spend more time finishing with 1200/1500 grade and compound.
Depends what you want from it really I guess, if you want a show quality finish on a full car then don't waste your cash. But if you want to blow in a panel or two it might, with a little patience and hard work, do the job.
