These are my first welds with Argon CO2 mix using Clarke 151en.
Slight breeze outside the shed. Had used gasless but no where near these for comparison.
2/3 switch is disabled if 1 is selected, it's only enabled when the first switch is set to A so you've done those on it's lowest setting which is why they're cold.
The next highest setting is 1 max then I believe it goes A - 2 min, A - 2 max, A - 3 min, A- 3 max, so you have 6 power settings in total.
Try again on 1 max and see what difference it makes.
Bloke, take a look at this post, which gives more details about the correct settings for the 151EN. http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=4971&page=2
Clarke got the settings in the manual wrong - some geezer at a desk, I guess - so if you follow the settings Malcolm posted here you should be okay. I also went by the Clarke manual when I first got my 151EN, with some odd results.
