argon regulator -need one

Don't know if I'm posting this question in correct place but,,,,Hello ,, I'm over here in Maine , USA .I own a Astro power 130 mig. I know , not the best but it was all I could afford . Here is my story. I let my Grandson borrow it, bad idea, It came back with a blown out argon regulator .( full flow all the time, ) I am looking for a new one . It is a OXYTURBO mini -230 bar made in Italy with a gauge on it .I found one at www.weldingsuperstore.co.uk. BUT they don't ship to USA. Do you know of any other place were I could buy one?? The difference with what I have is the outlet hose on regulator that goes into machine is a small plastic hose ,not the same size as every other regulator out there has .I went directly to OXYTURBO company web site but they are wholesale only.Also can then plastic hose for gas that runs out to gun ,can that be replaced .? He said he heard a pop in the gun and the gas flows all the time , doesn't stop when trigger is released.Any help will be appreciated.... Doug.

Can you post a link to what you need as the oxy turbo kits don't use an argon regulator, they are oxygen and fuel gas kits. Is it this one ?

Any welding supply will have a shielding gas reg. Tons on ebay.

The link PTvor gave has flowmeters and regs.

Adapter would be needed if your MIG just has a 4mm plastic hose.

No, I think confusion is creeping in because Oxy-Turbo is a maker of gas equipment who make a propane mix/oxygen portable brazing kit which has become known as - the Oxy-Turbo kit.

But they also make regulators etc, and it looks as if suede 48 is looking for an argon regulator made by Oxy-Turbo.

However, looking at the Welders Superstore website,

It looks as if they sell Oxy-Turbo regulators for disposable bottles and Oxy-Turbo regulators for refillable CO2, but only Parweld for refillable argon and argon mix.

If he just wants a regulator for refillable argon mix, which he must do because he said it was for 230 bar, then as shenion said, just about any welding supplier should have them. No particular need to buy one including a pea shooter flow meter. Then he also needs an adapter to go from standard US low pressure fittings to his hose. Also no need to complicate things by insisting on Oxy-Turbo brand or ordering from the UK.

Hey I found a regulator on the internet last evening that is identical to what I have now .Here is a picture of my broken one . Thanks for all the reply s from you. Total cost shipped to me from New Jersey was 38.Dollars US. It is frustrating because I found all I need at weldingsuperstore but they won't ship to USA.. Found what I needed at www.shoptoolsforpros.com. on Amazon ..

Hey suede48, you have the exact regulator as mine with the same problem. I looked on the site you found yours at, but can't find any on there. You wouldn't have a link that would take me directly to where you found it, would you? I have a bluepoint mig from Snap-on and they discontinued them, so I can't get one there. I'm as frustrated as you were looking for one. Thanks.

Suede was last seen over a year ago on here so I'd imagine the reply could be a long wait. Surely any local distributor will be able to find you a suitable reg
