Theres one on Ebay at the moment.Model LX108.Google doesnt bring up a lot but its 1.1kw(1.5hp),50 litre tank),180 litres per minute which I got to about 6cfm.It looks like the motor is in some sort of soundproofing enclosure.Anyone on here have experience of them?
I have never had an atlas copco compressor, but i have had drills and various other tools and they were all very very good, infact i'm still using my cordless drill which i have must had 10 years and still on same batteries with no problems
I have a 110v hammer drill well used for 15yrs and still going strong,
they make a lot of heavy duty stuff hydrovane compressors for the road workers and at BMW Cowley i have seen loads of tools and machinery made by them
the only down side it looks to be a direct drive that model probably allrite if in good nick and cheap enough but belt driven are best . atlas make some good gear but i think they have some cheap stuff for lower end market i have one of there spray guns bought cheap but its quite good
I have no experience of their small stuff but used to buy a lot of their towed compressors, jackhammers and petrol-engined breakers in a previous job. Had a few problems with the petrol-engined breakers but back-up and spares were excellent.
Compressors etc were quality kit and gave no major problems.
