Atlas Copco FD 40 connection Q's

Hi,

I have an Air Master compressor supplying air to an FD 40 air dryer via 1" (ID) tube, and am in need of a supplier of the connections. The in/out of the FD 40 is 1 3/4" (ID) female and the compressor is 1" outlet.

Any one know a UK supplier of compressor connections of this size? A reducer from 1 3/4" - 1" is what I am looking for, if such an item exists.

Do you know the thread type ? BSP, NPT etc ? Is the compressor outlet threaded ? Male or female ?

Thinking about it those threads are going to be BSP or NPT. Best place to get the sort of stuff you need is a local pipe fitting supplier, like BSS etc, actually, I see you're in Birmingham, there is a good BSS there. They will be able to supply everything you need.
Don't be tempted to go to a hydraulics supplier, like Pirtek, all the stuff they have is way too heavy and very expensive.
