Auto Darkening masks

Ive got a Clarke MIG welder and at the mo i use a standard welding mask, that has seen better days. So, im after an auto darkening one. Ive seen plenty on ebay £25 upwards. Now, they all say BS this and EN that. Ive also seen dear ones that are out of my price bracket.
Before i part with my hard earned cash are there any makes to avoid?
What am i looking for in a A-D mask? reaction time etc?

I not long replace a parweld with a BOC one, which has the same cartridge (lens unit) as the lorch and esab helmets. you get 2 eyes once you have damaged them there is no going back.

l got a speedglas 9000 and it is great and you can get lots of extra stuff to add on to it,throat protectors,hoods.l have a hard hat it mounts onto so when lm on site welding l dont have to keep swapping it over,it is soooooo clear to look through too,lm going to save up and get one for working at my house,its a paraweld l have at the house,good helmet but not as good as the speedglas.

So if the masks all conform to the same standards, what else am I looking for in a mask?
Spares, addon features such as hoods etc.?

obviously spares in terms of clear protective lens, easy available for the parweld ones and quite cheap i believe

to be 100% safe stick with the non auto-darkening helmets.they stil take a split second to react.depends on how your eyes are but mine dont like it.i get on well with the fixed shade helmet.tryed both speedglas and miller.miller one for me come out on top.
