Hi i am a fiberglass guy who recently began spraying boats with AWL GRIP, a 2 pack originally for aircraft,much like IMRON.the can calls for binks type sprayer with .085 tip. i own a SATA JET3000 with 0.10 tip result has been good but looking for best. can i set up gun to make up diference.i usually have slight orange peel i sprayout at 25psi ive been spraying two years,done ten boats and couple of dump trucks i got feel but dont know much about gun set up im always looking for tips also gun has circular or flat spray ajustment which is better? dabrewer[1st post]

most deff flat pattern for spraying.only use ball pattern for getting into small areas.talk to paint people for set up.but ithink i'd get a cheap gun for that sort of stuff.
sata jet was the only full size gun i could find with .10 tip. gun quality not an issue .i usually leave paint in gun up to an hour between coats without problem i really need info on on gun tuning . i hadn't tried circle pattern before now i don't have to every thing i spray has to be perfect[some of these paint jobs $10000.us.]i havent been able to experiment much.

i looked at the spec sheets on the website.i swear by devillebiss.no other gun can shift paint like a jga.
they have a jga set up on the site.talk to devillebiss direct,i think they will have what you been.just follow spec sheets .

can i retard flow rate to make finer mist when i started couple years ago i was told to leave open i'll check out devibliss site i use a finex hvlp for my general purpose gun.it has been bullet proof but it has to die sometime right? my sata is superior gun but should be for$500+us. just nice to bounce ideas around and get feedback.like talking to myself but some one's listening.thanks
