Can you get different oil can tips for different size push balls to oil?
Got some small ones and larger, could use a syringe I suppose for the smaller, just wondered on the tips, as my cans tips make a mess on the smaller ones.

converted all my oil connecters to drippers.....
some were modified grease nipples....
even the rubbish fitted to the Myfords got swapped out........

My only contribution is that the pharmacy sell these, and there are different body diameters.Not sure of nozzle size.I use them for DIY ear syringing.

I use the small green one for drips of water around tiny very delicate seedlings.

Just some random link I found, to demonstrate the type. Sewing machine oil cans are good for small stuff.

I recall some of them from the 1960s. They are the ones shaped like a banjo and thin, almost flat. My dad had one. I don't know if the one I'm referring to was for something specific.

Old oil cans generally had quite a pointed tip.

I've always considered making up a new tip for my oil can (a modern can with a flexi hose I think would be ideal as you just need to swap the end on the hose), but I think I've only got one machine that actually has ball oilers now, so I've never bothered.

That pic doesn’t look like a myford? It has a power-feed shaft!

I would expect a lot of back-pressure - the machinery should be turning while being oiled, if possible, to move the oil away from the oiler. I accept a little leakage but my old Wesco seems to do a good job on most. I have oil nipples where practicable (with an oil gun) and cup oilers mostly. Only have ball oilers where nipples are not practical.
