Bambi Compressor Repair

Found a bright yellow Bambi compressor in a cupboard at work and thought I'd try to get it up and running again after years of inactivity. Topped up the oil with the correct sb-46 grade stuff and turned it on. Works great except for one thing, a big air leak. Turns out there is a crack in the glass bowl on the regulator. No model number on it so I'm guessing spare parts will be hard to source and probably more than I have to spend on it anyway. Been looking at regulators on eBay but although they look like they'd fit they are pretty much all described as wall mounted. Any ideas for a cheap fix would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a picture of the broken part? I am sure more knowledgeable chaps will be able to give some advice.

Any generic regulator will work mate,wall mounted ones usually just have brackets that are held by the body and ive took wall brackets off regulators in the past to fit on a compressor

yes mate that will be fine...go into your local Machine Mart and see the very same on there own branded compressors

Bambi spares should be easy to come by.
Still current and haven't changed for years. Same design basically a fridge compressor.

hadnt heard of them so i google imaged them, the bb24 model is identical to the one i made at home from an old reciever i got from a skip.

I'm sure I can buy a regulator direct from Bambi but the price would be beyond the budget I have to spend on it. Think eBay is my only option.
