Bedford RL

Trying to help someone with a Green Godess, looking for wheel nut torque settings. I know it's based on an RL chassis but can't find anything. Anyone here know the settings or where to look please.

Very tight with a hint of tweek with a pole,thats how we did up any trucks when i was in RL's MK's TK's Stallys ETC

The AEC Society has invited the Bedford Owners Club to its annual show at Newark Showground this year on the last weekend in May, if your mates trucks done then see if he will register with the club and bring you along for the weekend, my Milly will be there and I may even take you for a spin round the show arena in it.

I'm not sure of the stud size myself but would of thought that 120 lb/ft was low for commercial vehicle, my van wheel nuts are torqued higher than that. Looking on the HMVF site there is a post about 7/8BSF wheel stud nut torque at approx 325-375 lb/ft.

Have found a torque chart but it just lists Bedford rather any specific model but it does list similar torque values
conti commercial torque.
More research would be needed to find the original specified torque setting

The original torque setting was 120 lb/ft and you have to remember that these were military specification vehicles and not civilian specifications, the RL had a 10 stud rim and not the 6 stud rim fitted to civilian models.
