Bedliner in rear of Mini Estate?

Hi, I have two packs of bed liner (Hippo liner brand) which I'm considering using for the rear load space in our Clubman Estate. The seats have been removed and the space covered with a sheet of stained & varnished ply. Likewise the cover over the spare wheel well.

Is there any conceivable downside? They claim it remains flexible which sounds good, but it looks like if I roll it, I will get a fairly non-skid surface and it will look pretty good.

My only concern is that at a later date, stripping it will be a mare.

Thoughts?

I do wonder if the product vents any ordour if used internally within the car: Or worst, that it becomes tacky in summer and the children emerge looking like they have be tarred and feathered!

I think I'll use one kit on the fuel tank (which sits externally under the rear doors) and see how that goes. If I need both kits I have on hand so be it, or I can judge the result and make a call on the interior. Thanks for the link, Spot
