My first and probably only post in the Sculpture & Decorative section as I am probably the least arty person on the forum and the list of useful bits and pieces I need to make is endless but I keep being reminded it's Christmas and that I should knock up a few presents for a friends and family . The only half useful thing that might actually be used was a boot puller like those I've seen a few times on the forum in the past.
As I said I am definitely not arty or even inventive so I shamelessly set out to rip off those already done by Dippy here:

I really had a poor selection of seriously rusty shoes to start with and no full frogs to form a neat body so its done with pieces:
I probably took all of 20 mins to slap together (and it shows - I wish I'd have spent a few minutes grinding the welds back now). TBH I was more interested in the finishing as it was an opportunity to try out the sandblaster and paint gun - I always knew wire wheels and brushing paint on was slow but didn't realise just how much more enjoyable it is blasting and spraying . Thankfully I only have a few shoes left for one more - I then have an excuse to get on with more useful projects...
